Annual Meeting Date

Illinois Deer Farmers Association will be hosting our annual meeting and fundraiser in January 2020. The event will be located at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. The schedule of the day includes the business meeting, lunch, educational seminar, silent auction, and live auction.

During the business meeting we will discuss the current state of deer farming in Illinois, address legislative concerns, cover ILDFA's financial status, and hold elections.

For our seminar we will be hosting a speaker that is yet to be determined.

The seminar and auction are both extremely important ways that the organization generated the funds we need to maintain the organization. We will have great lots available including sweets, decor, and straws of some legendary bucks. One of the great new lots we will be adding this year is the quarterly farm spotlight. You can find an updated list of the lots up for grabs on our website. If you are interested in donating please send an email to us, send us a message, or contact one of our board members. We are counting on YOU to make this happen.

We want to encourage deer farmers from Illinois and surrounding states and even all over the country to come or donate. It is important that we show support for each other and this is a great place to network. Who knows you may buy some great semen cheap, find someone to buy your shooters, or get a new doe to build your herd on.

One of the most important parts of our meeting, lunch, will be served with purchase of a meal ticket.

Please find more information and RSVP on our Facebook event.

The posted schedule is tentative and subject to change.

As always there will be plenty of time to talk to other deer farmers and individuals about life, deer, and bucks.
